The Rotaract Club of Birmingham hosted its annual Masquerade Ball March 19 at UAB’s Alys Stephens Center.
The event drew more than 500 young professionals from the Birmingham area who donned masks and black tie apparel to support the Rotaract Club of Birmingham Foundation.
Guests enjoyed entertainment by Rick Carter and the League of Legendary Artists, a silent auction and hors d’oeuvres by Kathy G. Catering.
The ball raised more than $60,000 for Rotaract’s service initiatives, including the club’s signature service project, Ready 2 Read.
Next year’s event is set for March 24, 2012. For more information about the club, visit www.birminghamrotaract.com.
