Mr. and Mrs. James Lauren Griffin of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Margaret Lindsay, to David Bradford Hilliard, son of Mr. and Mrs. James David Hilliard of Atlanta.
Miss Griffin is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vivian Earl Griffin Jr. and the late Mr. and
Mrs. James Kelly Hyche, all of Birmingham. She is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is a member of Alpha Chi Omega sorority. She was presented at the Poinsettia Debutante Ball and is employed in New York City.
Mr. Hilliard is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Jordan Edwin Brooks Jr. and Mr. Edward Bradford Hilliard and the late Mrs. Hilliard, all of Camilla, Ga. He is a graduate of the University of Alabama and is a member of Sigma Nu fraternity. He is employed in Hazleton, Pa.
The wedding is planned for Aug. 14 at Carillon Beach, Fla.
