Downtown Birmingham went to the dogs on May 18 as the annual Do Dah Day celebrations took over Rhodes and Rushton Parks.
The event is held annually to raise funds to support animals in the Birmingham, and Jefferson County Alabama areas.
Festivities began with a parade of costumed dogs along Highland Avenue, ending at Rhodes Park where a lineup of bands provided live music.
The band line up included The Starlings, Roots Posse, Nikki McCleod, Taylor Hunnitcutt, The Stink and Holiday Gunfire.
In addition, pet-friendly vendors set up tents and a kids section provided face painting, hair weaving, crafts with McWane Science Center, bungee jumping and more.
