The Mountain Brook Chamber of Commerce will host its biggest luncheon of the year, the 2019 Annual Luncheon, on Jan. 17 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at the Grand Bohemian Hotel Mountain Brook. The event will include presentations of the Jemison Visionary Award to Mr. Bill Bowron, CEO of Red Diamond Coffee & Tea and philanthropic supporter of local organizations including the Beaux Arts Krewe, the Birmingham Museum of Art, The Birmingham Zoo and more. Emmet O’Neal Library will present its Tynes Award to Alice Williams, library board member and past-president of the Jefferson County Historical Association, and the city will present its Employee of the Year Award.
