
Thirty girls competed in the AHSAA’s 47th Heptathlon competition at Hoover.
Baker High School junior Kelsey White closed strong Tuesday to capture the AHSAA 2019 Heptathlon Championship with a 4,357 point total over the two-day meet’s seven-event competition at Hoover High School May 13 and 14.
In addition, Mountain Brook High School’s Grayson Scott finished in sixth with a 3,709 point total and Vestavia Hills High School’s Azaria Wright finished in tenth with a total 3,523 points.
