We hope all of you are safe and healthy during this extremely difficult time. The continuing spread of the coronavirus and the impact on our local economy has created some unexpected challenges for all of us.
Over The Mountain Journal is published every other week, with the exception of the middle of the summer and the Christmas holidays, when we skip a cycle. With the current restrictions to curb the spread of the virus in place, we made the decision to skip a cycle and did not publish an April 2 issue.
Please look for our next issue on April 16, when we’ll include the latest coverage on how OTM communities are dealing with the coronavirus and supporting each other. In that issue, we’ll also include features on home remodeling, a Mountain Brook couple’s mission work in South Africa and a new book by the father-son team of Charles and Chip Ghigna, and our Food section will include a story on “Frontline Heroes.”
