On Halloween from 10-10:30 a.m., Dr. Christopher Bailey, Dr. Marie Pittman and Dr. Macy Smith will face off against chefs Franklin Biggs of Sur la Table, Ana Kelly of Dayspring Dairy Farm and Chris Zapalowski of Homewood Gourmet in a pumpkin carving competition. Chef and author Morgan Murphy will serve as the emcee for the event.
The pumpkins will then be judged by Bob Carlton of AL.com, Judy Cullinan and Nick Jernigan of Montgomery Super Suppers. This rain-or-shine event is free to the public and children in costume are encouraged.
