Emily Brown to Sign Copies of Birmingham Food: A Magic City Menu

Local author Emily Brown will be signing copies of her new book “Birmingham Food: A Magic City Menu” on Sept. 26 at 2 p.m. at the Books-A-Million in Brookwood Village.

The book follows the city’s transition from a boomtown filled with immigrants who held on to the best recipes from their homelands to big names like Frank Stitt and Carole Griffin revolutionizing the food scene and transforming Birmingham into a modern southern city and foodie destination.
