Flying the Hump

Local author Billy McDonald will give a presentation, sponsored by the Jefferson County Historical Society, on his father William C. McDonald and his experiences in World War II serving as a pilot in the Flying Tigers in China. McDonald will be releasing a book on his father’s adventures, “The Flying Tigers,” this spring.
