Russia’s History Under Communism to Today

This 4-session course is presented by the Birmingham Area OLLI by Peter Kirchikov, Russian teacher, author and speaker.
Each session is from 1:30-3 p.mm at the Vestavia Hills Senior Center. Jan. 6 topic is History of the USSR 1917-1953; Russia’s Road Less Travelled. Jan. 13 is History of the USSR 1953-1991. Jan. 20 presentation is My Experience Living in Communist Russia. Jan. 27 topic is Dictator Putin’s New Colonization Policy, Restoring Russia’s Superpower Claim and Annexation of Crimea.
