Otey’s Tavern of Mountain Brook will open a new location in Homewood’s Edgewood neighborhood. The new operation will be on Oxmoor Road at St. Charles Street and is expected to open in Spring 2023.
“We thought long and hard about this – Otey’s has been such a cornerstone of the Mountain Brook and Crestline community for over 30 years,” owner Will Haver said. “But this opportunity was just too good a match to pass up. We love the Edgewood neighborhood, and the two areas are so similar, that this was just the perfect fit. Couldn’t be more excited.”
The tavern features a menu of traditional American pub fare prepared by head chef Rodney Davis. Numerous publications have lauded Otey’s for their chicken wings, cocktails and cheeseburgers.
“This is really exciting for me and everyone at Otey’s. We’ve had our friends from Homewood visit us for years, and now we get to be a little bit closer,” Davis said.
Otey’s Tavern opened in 1989 and is at 224 Country Club Park in Crestline Village.
