The Alabama-Mississippi Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society is preparing for Walk MS in Birmingham on April 13 in Homewood’s Central Park. Check-in opens at 7:30 a.m. The walk begins at 9:30 a.m. The event will be held rain or shine. Proceeds will help support services for the more than 4,200 Alabamians living with MS and fund research projects at UAB to find a cure for this chronic disease of the central nervous system.
