The Over the Mountain Journal is bi-weekly community newspaper distributed to nearly 40,000 households in the Over the Mountain cities of Hoover, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Vestavia Hills and North Shelby County. Those not living in the Over the Mountain area can purchase a subscription for $24 a year.
