In her new book, The Elegance and Comfort of Home, interior designer Dana Wolter delves into the importance of curating one’s home to reflect and honor a well-lived life.
Growing up in a large family Dana learned the importance of experiencing life in a home that offers comfort and respite. From an early age, she sought order and a personal retreat to call her own. Today, she designs homes as functional as they are refined, seamlessly blending craftsmanship with joy and timeless elegance. Her inviting interiors provide a sense of calm amidst the chaos the world sometimes sends our way.
“I believe that the places in which we live should reflect who we are while also providing nourishment to our overall well-being,” says Dana. “Design isn’t just about what we bring into our homes and how we arrange our possessions. It’s about creating a gracious space that reflects those we cherish, ultimately enhancing how we want to live.” In The Elegance and Comfort of Home, Dana highlights intimate, tailored sanctuaries where families—however large or small—can unite, unwind, and create lifelong memories.
