Oak Mountain Amphitheatre
The Alabama State Fair returns to the Oak Mountain Amphitheatre Aug. 30-Sept. 8. The event will feature rides, fair food and shows. All shows are included in the price of admission, and wrist bands are available for $20 to ride all day. Tickets are $9 for adults, $6 for ages 5-12 and free for children 4 and younger. Current and retired military personnel receive discount tickets for $6 with ID. Parking is $5. Oak Mountain Amphitheatre is at 1000 Amphitheatre Drive, Pelham. Fair times are 4 p.m.-midnight Aug. 30 and Sept. 6, noon-midnight on Aug. 31, Sept. 1 and Sept. 7 and from noon-11 p.m. on Sept. 2-5 and Sept. 8.
