Artists on the Bluff
The Hoover Historical Society will meet on Sept. 17 at 1:30 p.m. at Artists on the Bluff. The speaker will be Dr. Pamela S. King, associate professor of history at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. The meeting will focus on the Civil Rights era and how it helped shape Birmingham neighborhoods. The Hoover Historical Society will also meet at Artists on the Bluff at 1:30 p.m. on Nov. 19, Jan. 21, March 18 and May 20.
