Racing fans will have the chance to meet some of the sport’s most famous drivers while helping Children’s of Alabama patients during the fourth annual Racing for Children’s Dinner April 25 at the Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum, 6040 Barber Motorsports Parkway, Birmingham. The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail hour and a chance to mingle with drivers. Honorary crew chiefs are Jaylen Smiley, 13, of Vestavia Hills and Kelsey Hunnicut, 17, of Brookwood, both former Children’s of Alabama patients.
