Birmingham author Irene Latham will have a book launch party at the Emmet O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Sept. 4. The event will introduce readers to Latham’s new book of children’s poetry, “Dear Wandering Wildebeest.” The author of “Leaving Gee’s Bend” and “Don’t Feed the Boy” will also lead guests in creating a craft.
