A Peace Corps event scheduled for 6-8 p.m. Sept. 23 in Birmingham will be a recruitment function, party and reception all in one. The event is at the Ryals Public Health Building on the University of Alabama at Birmingham campus. Those attending can learn about opportunities overseas, hear personal experience stories from Peace Corps volunteers and get questions answered by a panel. Light food will be served.
