The Samford University Legacy League will host its annual Fall Luncheon at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 9 at a private club in Vestavia Hills. This year’s featured speaker is Birmingham’s Sophie Hudson, author of “A Little Salty to Cut the Sweet: Southern Stories of Faith, Family, and Fifty Pounds of Bacon” and BooMama blog.
