An antiques shop in Mountain Brook is celebrating its fourth anniversary this month.
Antiquities was opened at 2421 Canterbury Road in October 2011 by friends Nancy McClendon, Debby Shepherd and Pam Evans.
The shop is filled with an ever-changing, personally selected inventory of French, English and Italian furniture, mirrors, chandeliers and home accessories in a variety of price ranges.
Customers visiting the store during the anniversary celebration the week of Oct. 10 will receive a small gift of appreciation from the owners.
