North Shelby Library will host the Central Alabama Reader and Author Shindig from 1-3 p.m. Oct. 11. The author signing event featuring Kit Rocha, Moira Rogers, Hailey Edwards, Deanna Chase, Jenn Bennett, Alisha Raj and Vivian Arend will include books, snacks and prizes.
