Halloween Gala Spooktacular

UAB’s Bell Theatre
The Lighthouse for Recovery Ministries will host its inaugural Halloween Gala Spooktacular for the Homeless from 6-10 p.m. Oct. 11 at the University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Bell Theatre, 1530 Third Ave. S. The event will feature door prizes, a costume contest, a creepy spook house and food. Those attending will receive care packages as they leave the event. Proceeds and donations will be used to purchase blankets, coats, food and personal hygiene items to distribute to the homeless this winter. This is a free event.
