Oak Mountain State Park
Oak Mountain State Park will host the fifth annual Decked Out Dash 5K and one-mile fun run Dec. 13 at 8 a.m. The race is presented by the Arc of Jefferson County and is holiday themed. Participants are encouraged to come dressed in their best holiday costumes. Santa suits, jingle bells and tacky holiday sweaters are encouraged. Registration begins at 7 a.m. on the day of the event. There will be prize giveaways, race T-shirts and other goodies. All proceeds benefit children and adults with intellectual disabilities.
