
Sarah Marie Hardekopf and Justin Michael Hefner were married June 26 at Riverchase United Methodist Church. Dr. Buddy Gray officiated. A reception followed at Matt Jones Art Gallery.
The bride is the daughter of Susan and Bill Hardekopf of Hoover. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. Gaitha Trimm and the late Mr. Robert Trimm of Fayette and Mrs. Dona Hardekopf and the late Mr. Irving Hardekopf of Studio City, Calif.
The groom is the son of Kellye and Mike Hefner of Lubbock, Texas. He is the grandson of Mrs. Marti Dozier and the late Mr. Robert Dozier of Lubbock and the late Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hefner of Lubbock.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Kathryn Elizabeth Hardekopf, sister of the bride, was the maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Brittany Gray Burkhead, Meredith Rodgers Robinson, Kendra
Scarlett Reynolds and Lindsay Jordan Johnston of Birmingham; April Fernandez Ciervo of San Diego; Kathryn Nebrig Herring of Atlanta; Emily Lynne Guthrie and Virginia Rae Shaw of Nashville; Mary Katharine Elizabeth Eoff of Memphis; Cara Jane Crowson of Longview; and Jordan Hefner Barnett of Lubbock, sister of the groom.
Scripture was read by Alley Elizabeth Jackson of Birmingham. Program attendants were Taylor Bailey Townsend of Tuscaloosa and Madeline Grace Trimm of Dothan, both cousins of the bride, and Hannah Catherine York of Birmingham. Flower girl was Madeline Grace Hughes of Houston.
The groom’s father served as best man, along with Ryan Wayne Amerson of Dallas. Groomsmen were Bradley Paul Hardekopf of Birmingham, brother of the bride; Christopher William Grammer and John Nicholas Carter of Austin; David Charles Wedemeyer of Houston; Justin Dean Javernick, Steven Read Hicks and Anthony Chase Barnett of Dallas; and Cody Kevin McKelvy and James Charles Long IV of Lubbock.
After a wedding trip to Costa Rica, the couple reside in Homewood.
