Radiate! Girls’ Night Out

Independent Presbyterian Church will host Radiate! Girls’ Night Out with author and blogger Kari Kampakis Jan. 9. The event is designed for girls in the sixth through the ninth grades and their moms. Kampakis, a Mountain Brook mother of four daughters and author of the newly-released “10 Ultimate Truths Girls Should Know,” will share advice on how girls can use their lives for good. Tickets are $10 and include dinner. Tickets must be purchased online in advance. Registration and a book signing will be from 5:45-6:15 p.m., and dinner will start at 6:15 p.m. Kampakis will give her keynote address at 7 p.m. From 8-9 p.m., participants can help with a Stop Hunger Now meal-packaging service project.
