Dr. and Mrs. Mark Deierhoi of Mountain Brook announce the engagement of their daughter, Lauren Anne Deierhoi, to Stephen Michael Falin, son of Mr. Barry Falin and Ms. Sherri Falin of Charleston, South Carolina.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. LeRoy Friestad of Leeds and Mr. and Mrs. William Deierhoi of Cleveland, Ohio.
Miss Deierhoi is a graduate of the College of Charleston and the University of Alabama at Birmingham School of Education. She is employed in Charleston.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Milton Hill of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and the late Mrs. Marjorie Carol Hill as well as the late Mr. and Mrs. Earl Falin of Wise, Virginia. He is the great grandson of Mrs. Virginia Jane Hill of Johnson City, Tennessee.
Mr. Falin is a graduate of The Citadel Military College of South Carolina in civil and environmental engineering. He is employed by Thompson Construction.
The wedding is planned for Nov. 21 in Charleston.
