Lindsay Kathleen Johnson and Matthew Adam Parriott were married July 11 at Cathedral of the Incarnation in Nashville.
A reception took place immediately following at the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, where the bride is employed.
The bride is the daughter of Mrs. John Fredrick Daughtry of Greenville. She is the granddaughter of the late Sheriff and Mrs. Joe Columbus Sanders of Greenville and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edwyn Ross Johnson II of Birmingham.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Alan Parriott, of Mount Juliet, Tennessee. He is the grandson of Mrs. Frances Hidde Bevington and the late Mr. Richard Leyden Bevington, and Mrs. Marjean Osmundson Parriott and the late Mr. Richard Lewis Parriott, all of Nashville.
Escorted by Mr. John Fredrick Daughtry of Greenville, the bride wore a timeless A-line, dropped-waist gown with a true sweetheart neckline and corded, floral Alençon lace over Regency organza. Satin buttons lined the back of the dress, which flowed into a chapel-length train. A sash with hand-sewn rhinestones accentuated the natural waist. An ivory single-tier cathedral-length veil completed her ensemble. She carried a round handtied bouquet of polo roses, spray roses, white stock and green hypericum.
Sister of the bride, Jennifer Leigh Gibson, of Birmingham served as matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Kathryn Bludsworth Cline of Birmingham and Katherine Bromberg Futrell of Memphis. Abigail Marie Donatelli, cousin of the groom, of Madison was the flower girl.
Christopher Gaines Lance was the best man. Groomsmen were Douglas Alan Parriott, father of the groom, of Nashville and Gordon Evan Thomas of Auburn. James Henry Gibson, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer.
Ricky Dale Braddy, Elliott Samuel Thomas and Gordon Evan Thomas provided a cappella music before the ceremony. Anne Heaton Sanders of Birmingham and Jennifer Grace Arnold of Greenville were program attendants.
After a honeymoon in Playa Mujeres, Mexico, the couple live in Nashville.
