Mountain Brook students did their part to make wishes come true for children suffering life threatening illnesses during the holiday season.
Cherokee Bend School students Mac and Charles Abele, James Burkett, Campbell Doidge, Henry and James Huffham, Witt Lanier and Blake Pugh joined with kids from across the country writing letters to Santa Claus as part of the Macy’s “Believe” program raising awareness and money for Make-A-Wish Foundation. For each letter mailed at Macy’s “Believe” mailboxes nationwide, the retailer contributes $1 to Make-A-Wish and will contribute up to $1 million.
