Mr. and Mrs. William Douglas Meadows of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Ashley Claire Meadows, to Jack Allen Harris II, son of Mr. Jack Allen Harris and Mrs. Donna Davis, both of Birmingham.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Edward McConnell of Manchester, Tenn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Leon Meadows of Murfreesboro, Tenn.
She is a graduate of Auburn University and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She is employed with Shire Pharmaceuticals.
The prospective groom is the grandson of the late Mr. Jack Daniel Harris of Birmingham and Mrs. Mary Crump Harris of Atlanta and Mr. and Mrs. Donald Barry Patton of Birmingham.
He is a graduate of Auburn University and is employed with Krumdieck A+1 Design.
The wedding is planned for June 11.
