Run for Breath

Fleet Feet Sports Birmingham, in conjunction with Avondale Brewing Co., Slice Pizza and Sweaty Moms Running Club Apparel, are coming together to present a fun walk/run event to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation’s “Birmingham’s Finest” campaign raising awareness of, and money for, research and treatment of CF.  The event includes a 1-mile fun run through Avondale Park, or a 3-mile route through the historic Avondale neighborhood, before returning to Avondale Brewing Co. for food from Slice, beer from Avondale Brewing and live musical entertainment.  Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. and the run starts at 2:30 p.m.  Food and music will be from 3-6 p.m.  The first 50 kids registered for the event receive a free event T-shirt.  Registration is $20 for adults and $10 for ages 12 and younger.
