Wrapsody
Wrapsody of Hoover will wrap up its fourth annual Hope Floats Campaign with a balloon release at the store. Throughout October, the campaign is raising money for the Angel Squad of the UAB Comprehensive Cancer Center in Birmingham. Angel Squad volunteers help breast cancer patients and aim to raise awareness about breast cancer. Money will be raised throughout the month through sales of balloons and tags, which cost $2, and T-shirts, which are $12. The tags are written out by the customers and contain messages of hope or an honoree’s name. The tags are attached to a balloon and released in front of the store. The tags along with the balloons and photos will hang in the inspirational Hope Floats store window throughout the campaign. The balloon release will be held simultaneously with the Wrapsody sister store in Auburn.
Those attending are encouraged to wear pink. The event will also feature live music, face painting and pink sweets.
