The 18th annual Meadow Brook Runs will include a 5K run and a 1-mile fun run. The 5K will start at 9 a.m. The fun run will begin at 10 a.m. Walkers and pets on leashes are welcome. A printable entry form and the results and sponsors from previous years are at www.meadowbrookruns.org. Entry fees will be contributed to The Jesus Video Project of Alabama. A $15-$25 minimum donation is suggested. To guarantee an event T-shirt, register by Dec. 7. Late registration will be from 7:30-8:45 a.m. on race day. There will be an awards ceremony and prize drawings at 10:30 a.m. The event will also feature “Taste of 280” food offerings, gift bags and prizes.
