Homewood Public Library
The Homewood Public Library will host the AARP Smart Driver Course with Anne Walker at 9:30 a.m. Nov. 1 in the library’s boardroom. The course, offered by AARP Driver Safety, is the nation’s first and largest refresher course designed specifically for older drivers. The course provides research-based information to help update driving knowledge and skills. Participants should check with their insurance companies for possible discounts. Registration is required. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for nonmembers. To register, call Anne Walker at 637-6100.
