The Birmingham Branch of the American Association of University Women will host a membership coffee from 10 a.m.-noon Sept. 13 at the Unitarian Universalist Church of Birmingham, 4300 Hampton Heights Drive. Those who attend can meet AAUW members and learn more about the chapter’s activities. The group’s mission is to advance equity for women and girls through scholarships, education and research.
