Otey’s Fest 2026
Enjoy this fun annual event featuring live music from Panic Stricken, T.U.B. and Gri Cashio; beer; cocktails and Rodney’s award-winning cheeseburgers. Proceeds will benefit the Phoenix Club of Alabama, an organization that supports young professional men. Tickets are available at oteysfest.com.

Trak Shak Retro Run 5K
Dress in your best retro get-up, and get ready for a night of fun and excitement at the Trak Shak Retro Run 5K! This year’s event promises a fresh and thrilling experience with a Retro Country Music and Southern Rock theme, featuring live music by the talented local band, Redwood. Runners also showcase their creativity in the infamous costume contest.

Get Healthy on the Railroad Cooking Class
Local expert chefs will provide cooking demonstrations, food tastings, healthy eating tips and take-home recipe cards at the FREE Get Healthy on the Railroad Cooking Classes sponsored by Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama. The first 100 attendees will receive a bag of fresh produce from Piggly Wiggly to replicate ta recipe at home. Class starts at 3:30 p.m.

Cut Flower Arranging
Allison Creel of Blue Rooster Farms will bring her best seasonal blooms and present a hands-on cut flower workshop. Learn how to harvest, condition and arrange flowers straight from the field. All materials are provided, and participants will leave with a beautiful arrangement.

Vulcan Party 2026
Make plans now to attend this year’s epic party at Vulcan Park, hosted by the John Michael Pierce Foundation! All proceeds from the event will be used to raise awareness about esophageal cancer. There will be great music with great friends, heavy hors d’oeuvres and lots of memories to be made.
