An American Red Cross baby-sitting training class will be held from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. May 10 in the large auditorium at the Homewood Public Library. Those attending will learn how to respond to emergencies with first aid, make good decisions under pressure, communicate effectively with parents, recognize safety and hygiene issues, manage young children and feed, diaper and care for infants.
