The Birmingham Public Library will bring its popular poetry performance/beer tasting series to the Vestavia Hills Library in the Forest on April 4. The Bards & Brews Poetry SLAM will be from 6:30-9 p.m. Bell’s Brewery will provide beer. Music starts at 6:30 p.m. Poetry performances are from 7-9 p.m. The event is free.
