Murray Alice Beck and Donovan Craig Wilkerson were married Aug. 2 in the Henry Edmonds Chapel at Independent Presbyterian Church in Birmingham. The noon ceremony was officiated by Dr. Rev. Conrad Sharps. A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Murray McConnell Beck of Birmingham. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald Anthony Waitzman of Florence and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rolland Earl Beck Jr. of Birmingham.
The groom is the son of Mrs. Donald Craig Wilkerson and the late Mr. Wilkerson of Oxford. He is the grandson of Mrs. George Everett Fletcher and the late Mr. Fletcher of Anniston and the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ernest Wilkerson of Oxford.
The bride was given in marriage by her father. Attending the bride as maid of honor was her sister, Mary Augusta Beck England of Huntsville. Serving the groom as best man was Donald Neil Simms of Birmingham.
The couple live in Leeds.
