Dr. Lindsay Elizabeth Brown and Dr. Daniel Alan Kelmenson were married Sept. 5 at the Della Terraa Mountain Chateau in Estes Park, Colorado. The Reverend Girard Sheffield officiated the ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Drs. Charles and Debra Brown of Birmingham. The groom is the son of Dr. Robin Kelmenson and Ms. Sara Braverman of West Bloomfield, Michigan.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a trumpet gown of ivory silk chiffon with a floral lace overlay. The gown was fashioned with a modern sweetheart neckline, lace cap sleeves, keyhole back and a chapel train that was delicately scattered with beads and crystals and bordered with Chantilly lace. The bride’s chapel-length veil of French tulle was edged with Chantilly lace. She carried a cascading bouquet of hydrangeas, roses, orchids, sweet peas and silver brunia berries.
The matron of honor was Dr. Ashley Corinne Shafferman, sister of the bride, of McLean, Virginia. Bridesmaids were Allison Hill Hendrix, cousin of the bride, of Knoxville, Tennessee; Rachel Ann Kelmenson, sister of the groom, of Austin, Texas; Dr. Keri Oxley Brenner of Boston; and Mrs. Allyson Brown Bartel of Los Alamitos, California. Flower girl was Lauren Olivia Cummings, cousin of the bride, of Houston.
The groom’s brother, Michael Kelmenson of Ann Arbor, Michigan, was best man. Groomsmen were Dr. Giorgio Roccaro of Philadelphia; and Dr. George Alba, Dr. William Gordon and Dr. Joshua Ziperstein, all of Boston. Ring bearer was Calvin Miller, the groom’s cousin, of Golden, Colorado.
After a honeymoon trip to the Greek Islands, the couple will live in Denver, where the bride is a second-year fellow in rheumatology at the University of Colorado Health System. The groom is in his second year of fellowship in pulmonary and critical care at the University of Colorado Health System.
