Assistance League Opens Upscale Thrift Store

The Assistance League of Birmingham has opened Encore of Homewood, an upscale thrift store. Ballet’s Pointe Ball Is Set for Jan. 29 at Saks

The 10th annual Pointe Ball, the Alabama Ballet’s largest fundraiser, will be Jan. 29 at Saks Fifth Avenue. Red Nose Run Aids Ronald McDonald House

ASO Presents the Von Trapp Family

The Alabama Symphony Orchestra will present the Von Trapp Family Dec. 10 at 8 p.m. at the Alabama Theatre. The great-grandchildren of Capt.
