Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary members will sell scarves, blankets, purses and other handmade items at Christmas Village. The auxiliary’s new cookbook, “What’s Cooking in the Kettle,” will be available at its booth. Proceeds support the Salvation Army Angel Tree Program, which provides toys at Christmas for more than 12,000 children in the Birmingham-Hoover metro area. Christmas Village will feature more than 700 booths, photos with Santa, a food court and a free package check service. Tickets are $10 for adults and $4 for ages 6-12.
