Mr. and Mrs. Michael Clark of Birmingham announce the engagement of their daughter, Katie Clark, to Austin Pugh, son of Mr. and Mrs. Garland B. Pugh III of Birmingham.
The bride-elect is the granddaughter of Mrs. Raymond Clark and the late Mr. Clark of Hopkinsville, Ky., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John Flynn of Birmingham.
Miss Clark is a cum laude graduate of the University of Alabama, where she received a bachelor’s degree in marketing with a specialization in professional sales and was a member of Alpha Phi sorority. She is employed with Post Properties in Atlanta.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Clark of Birmingham and Mr. and Mrs. Garland B. Pugh Jr. of Gulf Breeze, Fla.
Mr. Pugh is a graduate of Auburn University, where he received a bachelor’s degree in forestry and was a member of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He is employed with Edko in Shreveport, La.
The wedding will be April 18.
