Homewood Police Officer Scott McSparen spent the day talking to fifth grade students at Shades Cahaba Elementary School about the DARE program, Drug Abuse Resistance Education.
McSparen gave each student their DARE workbooks and packets, and the classes discussed the different ways they could make good choices in their lives.
