Eric Essix Album Premiere

The Alys Stephens Performing Arts Center will present Birmingham’s Eric Essix in concert Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. Essix will debut his 20th album, “Evolution,” in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Birmingham Civil Rights events. The performance will feature songs from the album as well as covers such as “Blowin’ in the Wind” and “This Little Light of Mine.” The performance will also feature Atlanta-based Five Men on a Stool and singer Tracy Hamlin.
