Hoover Library Theatre
The Hoover Library Theatre will present “Fahrenheit 451” on Oct. 10-11. The tale by Ray Bradbury was considered science fiction when it was first published in 1953. The story confronts the issues of censorship, the effects of technology on society and literature and the means by which knowledge is gained. The book was made into a movie in 1966 and developed into a play in the 1970s. Tickets are $25. Show times are at 8 p.m. each night.
