Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Groove Daddy has been playing and performing together since the early 1990s. The band plays Rhythm & Blues, Rock & Roll, Jazz, Motown, Ballads, Funk and Contemporary Gospel. The band also features originals written by Marc Phillips, some of which can be heard on his first solo recording “Color Me His”.
The band’s experience both in live settings and in the studio make it well suited for festivals, concerts, parties, banquets, weddings, receptions, corporate events, fundraisers, reunions, conventions.
