Holocaust Film Series

The Birmingham Holocaust Education Center and the Emmet O’Neal Library in Mountain Brook will present the Holocaust Film Series beginning Feb. 27. At 6:30 p.m., “Au Revoir Les Infants” will be shown, and Dr. Andre Millard of the University of Alabama at Birmingham will lead a discussion. The 1987 film tells the heartbreaking story of friendship and devastating loss between two boys living in Nazi-occupied France. The PG-rated film runs 105 minutes, in color, with English subtitles. The film series will continue on March 2, 4 and 9. All film screenings are free and open to the public. Light snacks will be served. For more information, visit bhamholocausteducation.org.
