The church’s annual pizzelle baking day will occur on Saturday, March 14, from 9 a.m. to 12 noon. Each year, talented bakers from Saint Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church gather for a day of baking, fun, and conversation to mark the beginning of celebrating Italian food, culture, and family. Pizzelles are waffled-shaped cookies, made by hand in special irons. This event will take place at Parishioner Donna Francavilla’s home at 5079 Greystone Way.
