The Hoofin’ It 5K, 10K and Fun Run event will be held on the campus of Indian Springs School in North Shelby at 8:30 a.m. June 7. The event will benefit Special Equestrians, a therapeutic horseback riding program for those with physical, mental, developmental and emotional disabilities. The race will start in front of the horse barn and run through trails and pastures. The cost is $30. Indian Springs School is at 190 Woodward Drive, Pelham.
